Q. How many times can I install Movie Magic Budgeting?
A.
Movie Magic is sold as a ONE PERSON licence. There are two installations
for each serial number, so you can install at Home and Work, or Lap Top
and Desk Top. You cannot share the program with another person, even if
they are in the same office or company.
Q. Is MM Budgeting compatible with Macintosh OS X?
A.
The latest version of Budgeting V 5.7 will run in Classic on the Macintosh
OS. There are no plans to make MMB OSX compatible. Entertainment Partners
have introduced EP Budgeting, which requires OS X.
Q. I have lost my dongle. How can I get a replacement?
A.
Unfortunately, Movie Magic Budgeting no longer supports the dongle. If
you r dongle is lost or damaged, you will have to upgrade to either the
latest version of Movie Magic, or to EP Budgeting.
Q. My Hard Disk has died and I have lost my Movie Magic Budgeting licence.
How do I get another one?

Go to www.elicense.com/how/supportform.asp
and complete the form. Viatech Technologies handle all such requests and
will advise you if they can replace your lost licence.
Q. Is the Australian Film Commission Budget layout available for Movie
Magic Budgeting?
A.
Yes, Like Magic makes this layout available, either as a template, or
as a Movie Magic Budgeting Form. Call Bob Loader on (612) 9971 1796 to
arrange to receive a copy.
Q. Can I send a Budget to someone who does not have Movie Magic so that
they can read it?
A.
Yes. You can save Movie Magic Budgets in Tab Delimited and Comma Delimited
form (Save As from the File Menu). This will create a file which can be
read in Excel. However, none of the formulas are exported. The recipient
can read and print the Budget, but not make changes and return them to
you.
Q. Will EP Budgeting open schedules created by Movie Magic?
A.
From the next release (due out in April 2004) EP Budgeting will open Movie
Magic Budgeting files. You will also be able to save EP Budgets so that
they can be read by Movie Magic.
